We've booked our ceremony and reception at the Cathedral of Our Lady of Angels in downtown Los Angeles.
Its a beautiful space and we're looking forward to celebrating there next April! We struggled to find the right space cost-wise, distance-wise but its great to have everything in one place. This means no lost guests (older Korean guests especially) and a little alone time with my groom.
We both work in the social justice non-profit, organizing world so it was significant to us that the Cathedral has also hosted fundraisers for some of our favorite non-profits as well as supports the rights of workers (like the Labor Day Mass) and immigrant rights. For many ethnic communities in Los Angeles who are religious but have progressive politics, the Cathedral has provided spaces.
